Incandescent Glow Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I personally hope she stops the song remixes/album versions for this era. Either do something that is actually enjoyable for the fans (a new video, a performance, an interview, the 3AM edition physicals...) or just do nothing please. The digital versions with the 30s audio that could already be found were too much. And on top of being too much, it was embarrassing because she couldn't even snatch the #1.

Everything is seemingly going very well for her, I don't know if blocking a black woman from her first #1 while you're on Week 10 is a good look. If it happens naturally it's one thing, but if she goes out of her way things could get ugly. That’s fair, because you know people will try it. But I mean, let’s remember that in the real world no one cares about these things (I guess besides the pressed teams of the people Taylor blocked as we’ve seen with Drake and SZA but lots of industry ppl are pressed about her no matter what so) Plus Kill Bill will take over for a bit regardless of if it’s after AH’s 9th or 10th week, obviously barring a sudden strong release that debuts at #1. But I don’t think we will see that until February, which would allow them both time to achieve respective milestones of a double-digit #1 and first #1. I think she’ll get it regardless of if Taylor pushes for a 10th week, so it shouldn’t be an issue outside of the stan world where she gets flack for any minuscule chart push she makes.
Arrows Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Imagine having a 7-week #1 song and not having performed it even once
Incandescent Glow Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Radio update Anti-Hero 99.27 (+ 0.34) Lavender Haze 33.98 (+ 0.36)
PerfectSacrifice Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 What songs do y'all expect to go viral because of the tour? I can definitely see Anti-hero getting a huge boost, probably midnight rain (piano version) too?
PoisonedIvy Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 If Bad Bunny seriously doesn’t release an album this year, with touring boost and Speak Now TV this could be the first year she’s THE most streamed artist on Spotify I believe.

If Bad Bunny doesn't release an album only a massive one from Drake or The Weeknd could take the #1 away from Taylor. That being said, I wouldn't bet anything on Bad Bunny not releasing an album.

Even if Drake or the Weeknd released a new album this year they won't be a threat I promise, especially when Taylor is supposed to release two re-recordings this year. Her only competitor on streams is Bad bunny. With two re-recordings and tour boost her streams in 2023 will definitely surpass Bad bunny's 2022 record Edited January 11, 2023 by Monster Queen

Besides, he releases tons of collabs. With another Dawn FM he is not a threat but if the album performs better...

I could be entirely wrong. For now though I’m kind of just getting a spring/summer SNTV release vibe.

We are getting Speak Now TV in February, 1989 TV in July, Reputation TV in October and Debut TV in December. On the New Year she announce that she got her old masters back. TS11 in late 2024 to close the tour. Mark my words.

The late 2020’s will be really uneventful for us if she rushes through ha career like that Sidenote but I feel like once we get to TS13 she’s going to slow down on making music. Realistically, I think she will release all the TVs throughout the tour, hence the title "The Eras". Probably one before each leg (Speak Now before the US leg, 1989 before AUS/NZ, Reputation before EU, Debut before Asia), leading to small adjustments in the setlist. Edited January 11, 2023 by Klein

She’d move like 60M album units in the next 3 year span Reaching 200M career units.

I'd say two rerecordings this year and two more next year with the international leg of the Tour.
Incandescent Glow Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Taylor alone represented 4% of the vinyl sales in the USA in 2022

If anything everyone is lucky that the Philippines DONT have an official chart )
selena_lavigne Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 i have this gut feeling that SN (TV) is coming soon
Popboi. Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 At this point, would hope for the 3 am physicals, LH music video and a remix or 2 for LH on its potential peak week. Save the energy for Speak Now TV that might need a little bit of a boost to do as much of a splash as the first 2 re recordings.
