You forgot she also can point and stare at the camera.... Only queen. :jonny5:

Omg love a breaking the fourth wall horror moment. :jonnycat: Running to see this film.

This thread has reminded me I saw Annabelle: Creation in the cinema in Myanmar. The cinema culture was so different - people would not stop chatting and shrieking and everyone was chewing on peanuts and spitting/throwing all the shells onto the floor, I was shook and distracted by the real horror which was the lack of silence around me lol

Tbh this was way better than expected. The bar was buried six feet under with St. Lucia's eyes, cause the first one was lame and pathetic. This was more coherent and solid while trying to rescue as much as it could from the first one, which was a challenge for sure. Surprised and glad to see Storm Reid here, but I wish she had more scenes and development.

I tbh wouldn't mind a sequel to this with both leads, which was my feeling with that ending... and with the numbers it's doing, wouldn't be surprised they are going to make it a trilogy.

It's not shocking how in Mexico the opening numbers were good, but still funny... Miss Valak is an ICON here and clearly the GP is perched.

Pretty sure it’s set up for Irene and Debra to lead the third although from the post credit scene it alludes to Lorraine being involved and that timeline wouldn’t add up unless they flash back throughout between the two timelines.

I want to see Vera and Taissa levitate Valak and whoop ha as two descendants of St Lucia. :jonny6:

Omg imagine if Valak gives a power up to Princess Annie and then it’s 2 vs 2! Irene & Lorraine vs Valak and Annabelle!

Honestly I hope they go extra and crazy for the final showdown.

I am pretty sure Valak is not done with Ed. We saw that at the end Valak got Frenchie and since that failed exorcism, she has been chasing Ed and torturing Lorraine. So, I think there is going to be a second showdown Lorraine vs Miss Valak.

Sis this conjuring universe has so much potential and is the cash flow of blumhouse, wan production company and new line cinema

And now the gay wanna see queen M3gan vs Annabelle.... :fish2: It gonna be sick as hell... Bring it on james wan, your aquaman 2 gonna be flops anyway.

Because Lorraine is a descendant of st Lucy so maybe Valak knows and is trying to torment ha with her man. Who knows! I just wish we won’t have to wait another couple of years!

Can’t wait for Valak to crossover into comedy. Maybe that’s what the Hulu series is; Everybody Loves Valak

The legend always wins I fear. :jonny5:

I think I'm the only one who hated this movie. I love the first two Conjuring movies and Annabelle: Creation. Annabelle Comes Home is just okay, and while The Nun wasn't good, I didn't dislike it as much as others. But I was crazy bored during this movie.

I don't get how you could be bored? They amped up the scares paced throughout the film and the final act was brilliant. The storyline was good and the characters are likeable, unless you just wanted to go and be terrified but then this isn't the film for you if you don't care about backstory.

I think people expect too much from these films because of the response TC1 and TC2 had. The Nun is a spinoff, it doesn't need the critical acclaim and should really be judged separately because the lore and backstory they're adding to this universe with this film is amazing.

The Conjuring

Annabelle Creation

The Nun II

The Conjuring 3 (I can’t really remember it but maybe I’d flip it’s place with The Nun)

The Nun

The Conjuring 2 (it was a mess)

Annabelle Comes Home

Curse of La Llorona

Annabelle

I’m excited for Last Rites and the HBO series :duca: it’s sad the Crooked Man film got scrapped, but maybe Annabelle or The Nun will get another installment in the future as well (although I personally don’t really feel Annabelle has much juice left)

I went on a hot date to see it and the movie was terrific. Well done Valek.  :clap3:

Just saw it. It was a decent slow burn horror movie with more emphasis on the story compared to the first one.

Spoiler

The film’s ending and the post credit scene seems to suggest The Nun 3 is being set up.

Good news for our Queen! Queen Valak is here to stay I fear. I will not stop until Valak has her own theme park, breakfast cereal and a podcast. Love ha :jonny6:

am i the only one who didn't hate La Larona? It was entertaining from what I remember, it was cute. Linda Cardellini being in it was also a nice plus.

This was much better than Nun 1. Miss Vallack still felt underused though. It felt like she still had minimal screentime.

Yeah we are definitely getting a third Nun movie which is exciting since the end of the movie definitely sets it up for another movie and possibly a

showdown with the Warrens when it comes to Frenchie being exorcised as shown in the first conjuring movie and the end of the nun 1.

Just watched it

At least 10 ppl left during the movie ...

Definitely way better that the 1st mess , but i wouldn't call it a good horror movie . Probably a bit less than an average one

I dont get it ,,, how difficult is to make a good horror movie including demons and nuns in a graphic village , 50-70 years ago . Only the idea by itself is terrorific and still they find a way to ruin it . Its true that sometimes less is more
