And the way Simu Liu defended Jennifer when a reporter tried to get scoop and gossip on Ben and Jen's marriage: @Lovett Can you update the OP with "| OUT Tomorrow!"? My king defending JLo, we love to see it. Her cracking a joke about no one asking her a question in Spanish. 1
Stepfon Posted May 24 Posted May 24 (edited) The reviews are coming in for Jennifer Lopez's new sci-fi film, ATLAS, which premieres on Netflix tomorrow, the tomato counter hasn't been updated yet but if you go here all the reviews so far on ROTTEN and the counter starts at five reviews (five reviews have been logged) EDIT: The film is now up to 22% 15% 8% on Rotten Tomatoes, STILL ROTTEN. SharGaga Posted May 24 Posted May 24 L after L. Not a good year for JLO. Mariah really prophesied this path for JLo. Even if it took 25 years to get here MIMI always knows best. Respect! 1 1
HarajukuPrincess Posted May 24 Posted May 24 I wouldn't mind laughing but… I actually feel sorry for her on this one. Didn't she spend like $20 Million — of her own money — on this…? 4 1

Broken Posted May 24 Posted May 24 "Hidden somewhere beneath all the generic dialogue, embarrassing plot, mediocre action and oddly ineffective performances, there's a good idea in Brad Peyton's 'Atlas.' It's a shame the filmmakers never found it." 4
Stepfon Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Now, this is essentially a film that would join the bandwagon of movies about Artificial intelligence that don't understand an iota of what it stands for. It is neither interested in the good nor the bad that the advent of AI can do to us, and frankly, it doesn't even care to do so. Essentially, this is a movie that wants to use AI as a narrative tool to tell a story about JLo being a badass. However, it even fails to do that because all she does is sit inside a designed video game console and act in front of a green screen. After last year's 'The Mother.' Netflix has bankrolled yet another exasperating, incompetent, and badly acted sci-fi film. It is one of the worst things Lopez has done thus far, and this is coming from someone who has seen her in 'Gigli.' From horrendous character design to caricaturish writing, the film's entire personality can be summed up as a 'Jlo cries in CGI' meme, and even that would be smarter than whatever this is. 2 1
DammnBaby Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Her unbroken streak of ROTTEN movies from 2000 to 2018 is hilarious.
