Jotham Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Nnn I always assumed they were a Japanese retailer. They even use Japanese characters on some of their storefronts.

D/X Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 The way their staff were forced to say "konichiwa" as you enter the store. We've been knew though.
Protocol Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Wait They fooled me, I have one of their small speakers and I swore it was a Japanese brand
truthteller Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 they did this ONLY because the anti japanese sentiment has been rising throughout the years so it made them less profitable to rip Muji / Uniqlo off
CloseTheWhoHa Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 How did yall not notice it was an obvious Uniqlo rip off
Specter Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 zlkh;;;; they would literally Sayonara to me the last time I was leaving the store But this isn't surprising. I had my awakening when I realized that a large number of sushi joints in largely Western countries are run by Chinese citizens, usually from Fujian.
