Times when artists tried to rehash their own past hits

What are examples of artists trying to recreate their own past hits in hopes of it happening again? (whether it was successful or unsuccessful).

E.g.:

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance -> Judas

Nicki Minaj - Anaconda -> Super Freaky Girl

Mariah Carey - We Belong Together -> Don't Forget About Us, I Stay In Love, You're Mine (Eternal)

Britney with BOMT and Oops. Oops was way less successful.

Britney with BOMT and Oops, but it worked and Oops lowkey became the more iconic and remembered hit.

Britney is the answer and she did it well.

La Isla Bonita -> Who’s That Girl

Into the Groove -> Causing a Commotion

Vogue -> Deeper and Deeper

Justify My Love -> Erotica

I don’t think the last two are shameless rehashes though. I think she just wanted to explore the sounds of Justify My Love and Vogue on a full length album, which led to Erotica (album).

Iggy Azalea - Fancy > Beg For It

Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend > What the Hell

Alexandra Stan - Mr. Saxobeat > Get Back ASAP

Madonna - Justify My Love > Erotica

Katy Perry - Dark Horse > Not the End of the World

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance > Stupid Love

Nicki Minaj - Starships > The Night Is Still Young

Alanis Morissette - Hand In My Pocket > That I Would Be Good

It didn’t work lol. Oops only spent 3 weeks in the Hot 100 top 10 and failed going top 20 on the Hot 100 YE chart.

Clocks > Speed of Sound

Hence why Chris hates it.

Shake It Off > ME!

The video was better though.
