Then I'll change it "$700" to "money" :rip:

You’ll need to take out “refuses to give it back” since the show’s management offered all the money this woman claimed was stolen back.

But the performer still refused to give it back. Management also originally refused to help this lady, them now stepping in to cover their asses after this went viral does not that change either fact :rip:

Y'all defending theft just because she had the money on her lmao. Some of you are so ridiculous.

@ThehushSound idk this looks like a lot of money taken from the purse. And you can see she folded the cash, maybe to hide it. There could also be $100 bills in there. Either way she is guilty af

Do you have proof that they tried to correct this after it went viral. According to the queen the amount plus tickets were offered after the show and she refused it.

Yeah, multiple sources have verified a refund was offered pretty much immediately after the show.

Exactly, the purse bit is not good at all but it was neither $700 nor worth it to defame Shannel and sue them for over $6k.

Regardless of if the woman is telling the truth or not, drag queens shouldn't be invading anyone's personal space or belongings, especially nowadays with how the political climate is right now, things like these are bound to happen. I certainly wouldn't let one touch me or try to take or look into my wallet.

I agree it’s best that drag queen don’t invade patrons space in this day and age, but at the same time shouldn’t a patron of a drag show be aware of such bits and prepare and act accordingly?

i.e. keep her purse on her, or out of sight? Maybe keep a majority of her cash somewhere more secure?

She was humiliated and is upset and wanted revenge by doing the same thing in return. She got offered her money back, but now has a platform and is using the moment to demand more money and to change what she believes are drag standards.

Shannel apologized and acknowledges that she made mistakes with how she interacted with her and will no longer touch stuff that belongs to other people. The apologies that the woman has received so far aren’t enough for her, she thinks she’s owed between $5-7k, at least. That would be refund for everything she paid for and didn’t get to enjoy because of this experience.

Honestly, not everything needs to be a huge discussion. She got the police involved when it happened. She’s still talking to the managers and Voss. They’re all adults and can figure something out. :rip:

See, this is what happens when you let Republican Karens into queer spaces to be "inclusive".

They don't get a lick about Drag Queen tipping culture, Drag Queens being dependant on tips if they haven't been on Drag Race recently and how incredibly rude it is to watch a Drag Show and refuse to tip even just one single dollar. This was VERY OBVIOUSLY a humorous bit, about these Beckys having stank faces on and not tipping.

This is not some random server taking your money. It's a DRAG show, artists who are known for being over the top, subversive, counter-culture, campy and for interacting with their audiences in a crude way. Like... what do you expect when you're watching literal performance art, where you basically KNOW that you're expected to participate in the piece by giving the performer cash tips? :deadbanana2:

How come the right-wingers always cry about "political correctness" when they're facing the tiniest pushback about somebody challenging them on their murderous beliefs, but as soon as they experience the TINIEST inconvenience they go all "LAW AND ORDER EVERYTHING MUST BE PROPER THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS"

So as long as the Karen is Democrat, they will be A-OK with performers taking wads of cash out of their wallets?

Honestly, anyone would be aggravated in this situation, including YOU!

I’m interested in your defense of Karen suing a queer performer for over six thousand dollars, including the cost of her pool cabana at her hotel because of this?

...I literally would not be aggrevated, I'm not lobotomized enough by American capitalism and consumerism to view Drag Queens as commodities that OWE me an performance. I'd be tipping voluntarily and not even be subject to such scrutiny by a drag queen because I know a thing or two about queer culture :deadbanana2:

Also why would I EVER wanna empathize with somebody from the ruling class, playing the victim over... a mild inconvenience that they greatly exaggerated on top as well? I'm not gonna get bullied into feeling bad for somebody who makes a fuss over such minute amounts of money. You might as well white-knight for Hillary Clinton and how hard it must be for her to pay so many taxes as a girlboss.

To be a TRUE ally, you have to be willing to get robbed :gaycattel:

Shannel is trash for that even if it’s just $2.

So you really think it’s appropriate for this white conservative woman to sue a queer person for the cost of her pool cabana because Shannel took a few dollar bills? :deadbanana:

The woman can’t even decide how much money was stolen.  Even in the video in the OP, the woman basically said ‘I had $1300, left with $350, so the queen stole $500.’   And management was still going to give back everything this woman CLAIMED was stolen, even though they did a search of Shannel and didn’t find nearly that amount of money on her.

The Karen is trash, there is honestly no defense of that white woman’s actions now.
