YESSS! A HIT A HIT :wanda:

This is definitely blowing up now. Hopefully next week once radio bounces back, it can make some ground there and become a massive hit in the U.S. The fact that it's already at 1 million units without entering the top 70 is pretty impressive.

Finally debuted on Apple Music in the US :clap3:

This deserves to smash. It's a lush, lovely track and their voices mesh so well together. Yes, Selena's presence elevated this song.

This song never ceases to amaze, it's literally a huge hit in over 40 different countries. If it manages to chart in the US, it will easily have 1 billion on Spotify and Youtube.

The song is expected to climb to #4 this Friday in the UK. And the song is only growing there. If it ever goes #1 I hope they send that little trophy to Selena too and acknowledge the fact that it is all because of her remix.

At least she is getting credit in the US, which still remains the biggest market so we will see how it does! So far it has charted for 17 weeks in the lower half of the chart which is also super impressive and managed to stay in even during the Xmas songs avalanche.

I’m so confused how she isn’t credited in the UK. The remix version is #22 on UK Spotify & #14 on UK iTunes.

the UK is so weird with remixes it’s annoying, at least billboard gives credit once the remix makes up like half of the song’s total performance (with some rare exceptions). the OG song is only charting on UK YouTube and itunes (below the remix), meanwhile the remix is literally the only one charting in the top 100 on UK spotify, amazon, and apple music  at this point I can only assume it’s up to the label’s discretion, I’ve seen other instances of artists credited instantly for a remix while in other cases it took a few weeks for an artist to be credited, like I believe it took some weeks for ariana to be added to save your tears but definitely not 18+ weeks that have passed now so

I don't think Ariana ever got credited for 'SYT' in the UK

wait yes you’re right I got it confused with the hot 100, anyway I guess it further proves that she won’t get her credit in the UK unfortunately but that’s just the way their charts work

Right? There’s a few other countries that are doing the same thing as the UK. And the funny thing is that in most of these countries, the original never even managed to chart before the remix was released lol so it is super unfair to all of a sudden give the credit to the original when it did absolutely nothing. Like why are they only crediting the solo version in the UK and Spain when it first charted the week after the remix was released? It should be the remix in every country where the first time inside the chart was thanks to it. In fact, the OG is getting more streams nowadays thanks to the remix injecting a second life to the song.
