some older songs still smashing, per kworb:

Crazy Frog 2022~305,000,000

Uptown Funk 2022~239,000,000

See You Again 2022~222,000,000

Let it Go 2022~218,000,000

Shape of You 2022~205,000,000

In Da Club 2022~203,000,000

Sunflower 2022~200,000,000

All higher than the #2 published 2022.

So like on demand streaming, the demand is for older songs.

(Also from like the last week of 2021, We Don't Talk About Bruno is at 472 mil & Surface Pressure at 268 mil)

Music videos are not a thing anymore as they used to. Part of the problem has been YouTube ridiculous amount of ads, too.

OT: Charlie at #2 is so random when nobody knows the song (and I like it a lot ok). HMH doing better than what it deserves, wow.

I know YouTube every year new policy are very restircted for Youtubers you can say or post a lot things, there are a million restroctions, Im not sure if this strict rules also for music videos, also the adds are sooo annoying

+ TikTok & the rest of social media trying to be Tik Tok must had some kind of impact on YouTube

Overall K-Pop & Latin videos are getting better views Karol G, Bad Bunny & Shakira had videos with decent views

Also I bet that Record labels are investing more on Spotify & Apple Music playlist
