And if she really wanted a smash, multiple vinyl colored variants exclusive to different retailers. She could've easily scrapped 500k+ if so. But regardless, this is HUGE! Beyoncé knows if her vinyls were widely available than her first weeks numbers would’ve been higher. That is common sense. She most likely didn’t complete the album in enough time to have more than 30k vinyls produced and available at the time of the album’s release, which is why the standard “collector’s edition” vinyl will be available everywhere later in September. Anyways, these debut numbers are amazing, especially since her last solo album was 6 years ago and she’s 25 years into her music career. If we’re getting 3 albums there are some people who probably can’t afford to go all out on all 3.
