Do you mean Donda which was delayed repeatedly before being dropped on a Sunday afternoon with no warning :rip:

So Kanye pulling a Beyoncé with the surprise drop plus the massive controversy and stadium rollout? And Renaissance pulling bigger numbers? :clap3:

The pure sales are great. Would've done even more had there been a wide vinyl release.

I'm still stumped as to why there isn't one?

Donda was obviously still expected to happen and the trolled delaying was just to amp up the anticipation for it :rip: so the "surprise" angle doesn't work here. Maybe the Sunday angle.

I didn't expect a 50% drop from her previous album, but it is what it Is.

Bet ya didn't expect the 75% drop from BTW to Artpop either

Right :rip:  I remember the Donda rollout being huge and he also had his typical media antics, Drake vs Kanye, building up the hype. I don’t know where they were getting at bc Renaissance is slaying organically. :rip:

Vinyl is notoriously difficult to produce with only a few factories doing it and they are backed up for months and months, it's likely the vinyl they are selling is the max amount they could get at this time. More will be released later I'm sure.

200K pure sales with vinyls not available and CDs sold out in stores :rip: B could destroy your fav if she didn't sabotage herself again and again. And y'all lucky bundles aren't things anymore.

Great numbers.

Hoping she can pull 350k.

I still think she’ll top 400k.

Lmao and stop saying this is a decline from Lemonade.

If we adjust the market is probably just a big of a debut.

And no one other than Taylor or Adele can move as much physical units as her.

The best album of the 2020’s so far did that :clap3:

Yes folklore sold 846k the best album of 2020’s

I honestly feel she would have even more if the album wasnt experiemental for her standards.

It kind of ignored her contemporary RnB fab base.

I honestly thought she would do 150-200k :skull:

Should’ve never doubted her power, the way she could’ve done 400k if the visuals were released and the vinyl release was handled better. :deadbanana4:

Fantastic numbers :clap3:

She could have sold like 300k box sets alone. All 4 sold out in a week and she could have restocked them and had something to sell for 5 more weeks. Lol. Plus she would have gotten another boost after the reveal.

I feel like her team will do it right for Act II though!

This album is her worst by FAR. Lemonade is a masterpiece compared to this lifeless sh1t.

No worries, we love longevity also.

Wow, impressive numbers. I just know that Cuff It and Alien Superstar will make sure this album will have legs in the Top 10.

Anyway, the way I smell Bey will overperform. Yall are celebrating too quickly, my dear second fanbase

Honestly I am sceptical about the longevity of the era. If Beyonce does not bother. It is serving 30 teas.

We have a whole movie to look forward to and maybe even performances + the songs on Renaissance have way more viral potential. Will it dip? For sure. But I am positive we'll have several rebounds

Monsters are comparing this album's numbers with Lemonade's but not with The Gift or other side projects? Why? Weren't you making a big deal with Bey's side projects chart performances in 2019?
