Sergi91
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- San Bernardino County voters will get a chance to vote on whether they want the county to secede from California. The county Board of Supervisors voted Wednesday to put the measure on the November 2022 ballot. If successful, the longshot plan would create the first new state since Hawaii was granted statehood in 1959. Source Even if the measure is approved by voters, it would also need a sign-off from the state Legislature and U.S. Congress.

They have no economy, it was literally non existent until people moved there to buy houses but still drive hours to get to LA/OC for work. also, it’s an insult to Puerto Rico and DC which do deserve statehood

discosean
This is giving "good luck booking that stage you speak of". It's like, if they really want to, let them. But when they have no money, no government, no structure, no nothing, they can't come back.
