dirrtydiana Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 What is she doing she needs to play Amy winehouse

I like Joaquin Phoenix and he should have won an Oscar for "HER," not "JOKER." 2. "JOKER" was an overhyped bore—the "folklore" of cinema. 3. I find it hypocritical that little monsters are praising this as a "win" for Gaga after little monsters (and this entire forum) called "JOKER" a "film for incels." 4. Not to state the obvious, but Gaga is a bad actor, so don't expect an acting nomination for her from The Academy for "JOKER 2." I will say that Gaga's agent is amazing, though. The way Gaga keeps booking high-profile roles with a very limited acting range is incredible— the millennial Gwyneth Paltrow. ...Vin Michael Fassbander is a woman beater
DoctorIce Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Even if it isn't well received by critics, it's guaranteed to be a huge smash and continue to strengthen her position and legacy as an actress. She's curating herself an iconic lil' filmography. The Snowman, Assassin's Creed, Dark Phoenix and Alien Covenant chanteuse can NOT relate.

It's hilarious how you're always writing the comments as if it's something definitive and always passive aggressive. Can't wait until you're proven wrong yet again - as Gaga's acting wasn't panned, ever. Not in Gucci and definitely not in ASIB. c OT: I wonder if we'll be getting loads of filming pics again

A rocky horror picture tea. Box office and acclaim are just a bonus at this point.
Serendipity Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Also can we just remind ourselves, the first one was VERY polarising, you had amazing reviews and absolute horrific reviews hence the 59 on Metacritic and 68 RT (the audience and GP see through critics and obviously loved it!)
*-ChriZ-* Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 (edited) I wonder if shes going to write a letter herself again Other than that: Good for Gagz But why the early teaser? Edited August 5, 2022 by *-ChriZ-*
Badgalbriel Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 I can already see she's going to kill it. She's perfect for that role.

Bimbo Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Between the obsessed k-pop stan with 20 posts in here and the 40 year old weirdo spamming gifs to make a nonexistent point… a nurse is NEEDED.
Johnny Cash Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 The theater showings for this will be split between incels and bottoms

Yes, general people said it was a movie for incels. He is saying that monsters are the ones who came up with it.
Bang Up Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Her getting these huge LEAD roles based on her proven acting ability and not just because of her name. The other girls are being handed crumbs via cameos and side characters while Gaga is snatching up LEADING LADY titles. The stans are mad because this is the thing that only Gaga is able to do. Her contemporaries have tried time and time again to land big leading roles and they can't because no movie studio trusts them with such a momentous task. This is going to be huge for her continued legacy in film. Her box office gross as a leading lady could very well shoot past $1b with this (and she didn't have to hop on an animated film as a secondary character to do it).

I hate that I'm defending them but they didn't say that, they said this forum, including monsters, called the movie a film for incels. Which honestly is mostly true, but it irrelevant at this point. And again, that user sucks.
