I literally mean Disco Sweat the song, it's completely different of course but I as far as I remember they were making that demo album together back then

16 new songs  I’m sure this is not gonna bop like Dedicated or E•MO•TION but she’ll serve a solid body of work and play a little with her sound and I’m so here for it. I loved Jack’s work with her but I’m glad the album has a different producer

If I’m being honest, while Emotion and Dedicated were exciting releases at the time, for the most part those albums haven’t aged well for me. I really only use RAWM, Warm Blood, Julien and NDLM at this point. I agree that there probably isn’t going to be a big hit like CMM or RAWM from this, but to me it seems like this is going to be her most mature and cohesive body of work to date, which makes me very excited!

I’m surprised this is a heartbreak album, that definitely isn’t the vibe I got from Western Wind. I was expecting a ‘hippie’, ‘finally found myself’, ‘I’m so happy’ aesthetic

i love the concept of the colours and the fruit on the table. i guess she took inspiration from Arts (1500-1600) about “still-life” and “dead colours”. super perched!
