His site is good for data but the formulas are just nonsense. 

He kinda lost me with the whole ASR thing which just seemed designed to get MJ to #1 over The Beatles (CSPC I understand the logic behind even though it seems album era artists still have the advantage... may just be an accurate reflection of historical market change/selling power). It is a useful data compendium, though.

I don't know if the formula needs to be revised, but it is clear that you are trying to make your western point of view more important than BTS sales in the east.
And if you want we can analyze how they sell out stadiums all over the world when people like Drake can't sell out arenas in his own country

First, i'm from Asia but did they sell like 200 million records? Otherwise i don't understand how they surprassed acts like Rihanna, Adele or Britney. etc....

 

Second, touring isn't the same as selling records

Why do you mention records when they are talking about equivalent album units? 

BTS stats outside western countries are impressive, even IFPI reported that

I didn't say their stats ain't cute. Just that their career is still short comparing to artists like Rihanna. And it's really ridiculous to even think act like BTS is bigger than Rihanna
