I feel the same way. When I watched the Pink Venom performance on Youtube they all seemed so uninspired lol especially Rosé

- cheap ass, basic shut down/album teasers

the thing is they sell millions, gets #1s, get billions of streams even without lifting a single finger and I think YG wants to take that to the next level this era.

For promo in Korea, don't forget YG never book variety shows for Blackpink (idk for their other artists), The Pinks said many times they have to ask (beg?) YG to let them appear on variety shows. Tbh I don't really care about SK variety shows, yes it helps for the charts but outside of Running Man I find them boring (not to mention many men on those shows are mysoginistic/problematic). I'm fine with Music Shows/Youtube performances promos for SK, but it has to be more than for Pink Venom

 

As for the big project/promo "that matches BP status" that YG said before Pink Venom, I think it was only VMAs

They probably it have it on contract that they have to be there at Fashion Week so YG most likely knew about all of these way before the release.

also I’m glad they don’t go to variety shows. The editing always makes me cringe and annoys me  it can be Jennie saying “oh?” And they replay her saying that **** like x5 with sfx+graphics

I was so so excited weeks ago and right now I wanna be excited as hell cause this is their first album in 2 years but none of these shut down/born pink teasers are hyping me up  its so cheap and half assed. like, they can literally get ANY photographer they want and they can have any team to prepare and plan everything for them but everything seems decided just last July  

 

the fact that we have these teasers left:

tonight (Tuesday midnight): Lisa

Wednesday: MV teaser

Thursday: D-1 poster

Friday: SD/Born Pink release 

 

 

let's all stay excited and hype/support the girls and just enjoy everything cause god knows this will be their final album ever

I can't believe Pink Venom hasn't left the spotify global top 10 since release and still getting 3m streams everyday its slaying so effortlessly. Just imagine if they were actually promoting the song i-

This era has been a trainwreck. The way YG is shamelessly putting out this "album" just to send them on tour and make the real money. Everything about this group screams wasted potential it's so exhausting following them.
