teasers are supposed to get you excited for the release, if you’ve already established that your group is formulaic and all ur getting is beauty shots…. how is that not something to complain about when ur a fan and want to be hyped/excited for something new

Exactly.. im only complaining because i care this much If i didnt like them i wouldnt even be in this thread 
I just wanted them to approach the teasers different for ONCE but nah same old same old.. but tbh YG is simply **** at teasers for all their artists, atleast the MV+music usually delivers 

I can already predict that we get teaser videos next in those same outfits... 5 sec beauty shot with some random audio that doesnt tease anything  So exciting

I think what they mean is another pre-release. There's no other songs coming out before the album but there will be a title track of the album that is promoted

I'm thinking YG must have some sort of rule or wish to keep Blackpink's visuals pretty plain because why do they have so few photoshoots that are actually pushing boundaries or doing something truly unique? Actually I remember I think it was a staff member for a magazine mentioning that YG were a nightmare to work with with all of their strict rules  

 

They just wanna keep the status quo and play it safe all the time

they have every connection possible but they still choose to serve plain beauty shots  

imagine having hugo comte and petra collins on your contact list but never use them for album shoots
