music wise I’m satisfied, they gave as something new with their signature twist 

 

I agree about their mvs, it’s obvious they are running out of the ideas, YG’s parking lot is serving background for both BP and Treasure now 

 

and YG management is awful! the era feels rushed, almost no promo, they have tour in a month and in the meantime they need to attend FW, which I understand is part of their job too, but that’s on YG for pushing the release date this much, they should’ve started in June and it’d be perfect

not to mention the disrespect to release only 8 songs, when we know they worked with other artists and producers and those songs got scrapped

if she’d release it last year as her solo lead… it’s on brand with the music trends, but they decided to go with the typical BP track and waste her hype a bit  I mean I love both OTG and Gone, but they had THIS! HTL as lead, OTG b-side and Gone for the future release, since it’s the kind of song that won’t age 

 

maybe they thought it’s to good for a solo and would overshadow the group  I don’t know but it’s a global smash in their hands, they put it on BP because it’d be a waste not to release it and thought they’d get away with it… I honestly have no idea what are they doing, but my hope in Rosie is restored

On my first listen through of the album and I am shook at how good it’s been. Hard to Love is incredible. Godsè really did that.

I mean R participated on OTG so it’s easy to understand why she preferred otg rather than HTL for her solo debut
