kawk Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 the way SHUT DOWN shits on PV.. it's just so insanely catchy and didn't need a few listens to grow on me like PV

queendom Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Top 3 after letting it marinate for a bit: Hard to Love YYY Shut Down
Britney Spears Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Shut Down is their farewell single. They're disbanding after the tour, the hints are there in the m/v

Indeed, The Album feels more complete but less "experimental" while Born Pink is emptier by moments but feels way bolder in general.

Jaye Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Pink Venom - a cute bop that gets stuck in your head. Shut Down - They ate this, tbh. They're talking their ish and don't give not one F***. Typa Girl - Definitely a typa song. Maybe it'll grow on me? Yeah Yeah Yeah - This is an electric BOP. It gives me Carly Rae Jepsen, tbh. One of their best songs imo. Hard to Love - I'm sorry but Rose completely and utterly DEVOURED this song. I could see this being a massive hit. The Happiest Girl - I love this, I truly do. Tally - It's nice to feel like they're finally letting loose. Ready for Love - I still think its a cute bop, I don't mind it on the album.

Hephaestus Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 I agree that Shut Down feels like a farewell. The lyrics about shutting down, YG dusting off all the stuff from the previous MVs...
