It was revealed by Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grange in the Q2 2022 earnings call.

Last month in the U.S., Drake's Honestly, Nevermind became his 11th #1 album and the track Jimmy Cooks became his 11th #1 single. Drake is now the only fifth artist in history to have had more than 10 #1 albums and the only artist ever to have simultaneously had top Billboard Album Singles and Artist Charts to 16 weeks. This album propelled Drake past 160 billion global career streams, solidifying his stature as the most streamed artist in the world.

Are you sure about these numbers? Taylor Swift/Ariana Grandehave 31.3B/33.6B streams respectively across all credits on Spotify. Where are the extra 70B streams coming from?

Taylor Swift had ~80B confirmed streams when she received the UK Icon award at Brits 2021 awards meanwhile it was confirmed that Ariana had 90B streams in 2020 when positions was released but not sure.

Neither Taylor not Ariana have up to 30B streams from YouTube. On Apple Music, neither of them have up to even 10B streams.

Cardi B still has some bragging rights, though: Her 2018 album “Invasion of Privacy” set an Apple Music record as the most streamed female R&B/hip-hop album in its first week of release, pulling in more than 100 million global streams.

 

Other noteworthy results include Lady Gaga coming in at number nine, Selena Gomez at number 14, and 17-year-old singer-songwriter Billie Eilish cracking the top 20. And for anyone wondering who is Apple Music’s most streamed artist, male or female, of all time, it’s Drake.

Even if you tally up those numbers — according to the BRITs, who gave her a global icon award last year, she had 78B global streams. She isn't jumping from 78B streams to 110B streams in just over a year.

 

She's at 6B streams on Spotify so far this year. Add in her streams from other platforms worldwide and it's likely somewhere around 10B streams total. Across her entire catalog, she's likely somewhere around 94-96B streams globally across all platforms.

Pandora has a lot of inflated stream numbers, you should check out their numbers, i was very surprised by it

Republic Records posted this on IG story in Mar last year and she def grow more than 10B streams from that and right now shes heading to 110B

as of Taylor she did 78B as of May last year, she already grow 12B from Spotify and 5B from YouTube, not even including Apple Music and Amazon and other global platforms, shes def gonna reach 100B somewhere this year
