How is this argument in your favor when streaming is now bigger than it was 2 years ago? :skull:

Valid point.

Why are some monsters so bothered by Bey its just weird. I love both and Bey's numbers are impressive, hope she matches them up with videos.

It’s giving 200k debut

i think she can get between 350-475k tbh.

While the day 1 numbers are ok I think she'll be able to hold steady. Stans will play it alot this week me thinks

Beyonce has a multitude of mentally disturbed haters, with no objectivity whatsoever when it comes to talking about her

Spoken as someone who spent time attacking people for their opinions and placing this statement out there as if her stans are any different.

These numbers are decent. there is no need to panic. I could see if it was 23M but 43 is not bad to use this approach. I'm not a monster or a swiftie but don't let them see your slip either...especially over decent numbers.

Great numbers! This is her very first solo album released to Spotify day and date. All of its tracks are Top 25 in America. There is no way you could call this a flop.

"There is no way she ISN'T going to dethrone her" = "She will definitely dethrone her", the user just used double-negation.

These are actually impressive numbers, congrats beyonce, and hopefully now hive will stop being so cocky.

It's still so funny to me that people are pretending Beyoncé isn't completely dominating at the moment. And yet yall still wanna make this about your faves  :deadbanana4:

You really shouldn't talk about a fanbase being cocky as if you don't make a thread about Taylor's numbers every other day :bibliahh:''OUUUU TAYLOR IS SO SUPERIOR... WHY NO ONE CAN OVERTAKE HER? WHY SHE SO GOOD? SHOULD OTHERS GET ON HER LEVEL?'' puhlease

It’s sad that yall still feel like you need to compare women to each other. Let’s look at the men in the industry - Drake, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Kendrick. All are allowed to be simultaneously successful. Nobody compares them to each other. But yall feel like out of Ariana, Gaga, Beyoncé, Taylor etc., “there can only be one supreme!!” and you have to criticise one just to uplift another. And these ladies are well aware that this is what yall are like too which is why they all pay their fans dust these days.

If you can’t just say “congratulations” and go, you need to ask yourself why.

It's funny how this applies when people's faves are the focus but the same people will go in threads making similar remarks with women against one another.

Why aim to control what people post? Maybe self evaluate. If you need to make this post when your fave is involved and not when someone you do not stan is the focal point then maybe ask yourself why. It certainly isn't coming off objectvely.

ATRL is a pop forum which predominant LGBTQIA+ members who obsess and focus on female pop stars. People also participate in criticizing men and also pitting them against each other but mostly on ATRL it's females. Nothing new and not going to change as most posters prefer to discuss female stars vs male stars.

Copping pleas is not worth it when these numbers are decent.

Bey has inserted her name into huge streaming hits such as Perfect, Savage remix , Mi Gente. Etc.

I really don't understand why the hive are now looking down on collabs when Bey has benefited a lot from collaborations with big streaming artists.

why are they shading ROM and SC

Gaga herself  wrote and worked on these songs.

exactly glad Bey getting both paid and free

This is an argument that's been used and debunked with Beyonce stans pretended spotify paid members weren't higher than apple music paid members.

the people who should care about that the most are the ones getting paid not the stans paying and not receiving royalties.

Spotify numbers and apple music numbers are both important and Beyonce did great on AM and decent on spotify

Well yeah. The numbers are just added up from the global song chart, but on the first few days the order is usally very close to the tracklist

Numbers with the tracklist order

Break My Soul 4.250.388

1 I'm That Girl 3.882.604

3 Alien Superstar 3.470.344

4 Cuff It 3.416.032

2 Cozy 3.296.289

7 Church Girl 3.156.074

5 Energy 3.089.590

16 Summer Renaissance 2.488.712

9 Virgo's Groove 2.372.450

8 Plastic Off The Sofa 2.356.395

10 Move 2.123.692

11 Heated 2.008.084

12 Thique 2.001.086

15 Pure / Honey 1.841.913

13 All Up In Your Mind 1.769.366

14 America Has A Problem 1.727.925

Summer Renaissance sticks out a bit, but guess that's because of the album title. Overall its completely unclear yet what the GP likes

I expected Church girl and Pure/Honey to do better but the other rankings are what I expected. The top 4 need to be singles at some point. hopefully numbers hold

I don't know who the **** you are but this ain't it. :skull:

Hive is acting like beyonce is on some other level in reality she is not.

Taylor is REALLY on an another level when it comes to success and no other female artist is close to her, this is A FACT. I'm not being cocky about this (there are other things I'm cocky about but this isn't it) :skull:

Remember, it had NO promo, literally not even a video. Nothing. Just new Bey release promo is not enough for some higher numbers(and what it did is more than good).

I'm not sure that is a valid argument.

She changed a picture on her social media account and it trended WW. She announced her era with a release date unlike a surprise release which that argument could be valid and it trended. People were prepared and aware so now it's about if it connects and the replay value.

The numbers are not bad at all so the excuses seem unnecessary for a fairly solid result.

She might get 3 or 4 songs in the hot 100 top 10 if this holds

Emphasis on random. They don't even make similar music.

Except it's not.

When Gaga releases a song a spotify thread is made and Beyonce stans are all throughout the thread commenting  and vice versa.

this thread was going to be made by someone. It stems back from Gaga's underperformance during Artpop and then circled back during the soundtrack era (ASIB/TLK) and hasn't let up since.

Anyone can pull up past threads to see it's a see saw between both bases. Neither is more innocent than the other.

Both had decent (not astounding) numbers.

Now let's see how this holds...hopefully, a few can land in top 10 on the hot 100 based on these streams, other streams and other numbers.

I just realized now that the numbers are actually legit she’s looking to do half of her previous :deadbanana2: with this consistency her next will do 150k and then after that 75k. Going through this thread is definitely like watching good vs evil and it’s refreshing to see evil being defeated

This is Spotify. And we don't know the AM numbers.

and from what I remember Drake took over all the spots from #1 to #17 for days on AM.

And they all dropped dramatically after the first day.  I'm using AM as an outlier for Spotify. If the AM placements dont drop today what makes you think the Spotify numbers will drop dramatically?

Drake's didn't drop until like the 3 or 4th day.

Not bad for the solo debut of one half of The Carter's :clap3:

whether you put her in with 90s girls (britney, xtina, jlo, monica, brandy) or the 00s (rih, tay, avril) those numbers are absolutely amazing

and moreso, the music is amazing :katie2:

i remember those TRiCON alliances back in the day, between beyhive and monsters, this silly stan war is so cringe :toofunny3:

Respectable numbers especially for someone 20+ years into her career :clap3:Triple that of Lemonade. I see she's slaying AM as well.

If it has good hold throughout the week then she's good. Longevity is key. Astronomical first day numbers are kind of a Taylor thing only and she has put out several projects in the streaming era unlike Bey so its not really fair to hold them to the same standard imo.
