Maybe it’ll bruise her ego a bit.

Anyways, the album is fire.

Good numbers. BMS made it clear a big part of her audience uses Apple Music and I'm sure this will be reflected on her total SEA

ugh these numbers are GREAT, regardless if you place bey as a 90s artist or an early-00s one. the fact people can only mention taylor, rihanna and shakira as possible peers and that’s supposed to be a drag. these are 4 people in an industry of thousands. these 5 saw people come and go and are still standing toe-to-toe with the newbies. if that’s not legend behavior….

as far as the 90s go, in truth only Eminem has the same pull as Bey in the american market to attract people in 2022 to check their new material, even outdoing the people they have influenced. that’s ******* remarkable

L*d* G*g* is also a legend in the making. She’s outlasting everyone that debuted around her era too. These two deserve better fan bases because they support the **** out of each other and have influenced each other for years. This is the most random, elderly stan war in the whole ass internet. At least britney vs xtina MADE sense because they hated each other at a point lol

Not only that, but Brit and Xtina actually started at the same time and we're on the same trajectory in their early years. Gaga vs Bey doesn't make much sense at all but the stans of the younger women love trying Bey's legacy all the time. I guess it's tall poppy syndrome. Their faves are trying to get to where Bey is regarding longevity + status. I guess they feel she needs to retire and move out of the way in order for their fav to ascend to that next level. In their eyes, she's been successful and part of the conversation for too long and I'm like, y'all better pray enough people still care about your favorite diva career after 25 years lol.

43M under no circumstances is a "complete bomb". Certainly not for a 40 year old woman. :skull: If you want to attempt to formulate an argument that it's an under-performance, by all means. But this is higher first day streams than Billie, Doja and Ariana (with Sweetener) had. Nobody considers the performance of those albums a 'complete bomb'.

The dramatics are wildly unnecessary, especially because the numbers between those two artists are extremely close. Not to mention the utter domination Beyoncé's currently showcasing on Apple Music.

Tea.

Mutha did that with an hour long album in the year 2022 :clap3:

Solid debut and around expected. Most predictions I saw had it around 40-50m. :clap3:

Do we have the split for each song? Do we usually get that sort of data? I’m curious about what songs are GP favorites.

Well yeah. The numbers are just added up from the global song chart, but on the first few days the order is usally very close to the tracklist

Numbers with the tracklist order

Break My Soul 4.250.388

1 I'm That Girl 3.882.604

3 Alien Superstar 3.470.344

4 Cuff It 3.416.032

2 Cozy 3.296.289

7 Church Girl 3.156.074

5 Energy 3.089.590

16 Summer Renaissance 2.488.712

9 Virgo's Groove 2.372.450

8 Plastic Off The Sofa 2.356.395

10 Move 2.123.692

11 Heated 2.008.084

12 Thique 2.001.086

15 Pure / Honey 1.841.913

13 All Up In Your Mind 1.769.366

14 America Has A Problem 1.727.925

Summer Renaissance sticks out a bit, but guess that's because of the album title. Overall its completely unclear yet what the GP likes

Chromatica has nothing to with RENAISSANCE's day one numbers.

Ya are still letting the Hive viciously attack Gaga and her Monsters.

The Beyhive has been making the RENAISSANCE era about Gaga, her Monsters, Stupid Love and Chromatica. I suppose we’re the standard for fanbases while Gaga, her lead single and album stats are the standard for success for Beyonce and her Hive.. :isudumblmao:

Pretty weird that people are trying to spin this as a bad number :rip:

Chromatica was actually getting lot of praise in the first week. It was longevity that failed the era.

Bey has inserted her name into huge streaming hits such as Perfect, Savage remix , Mi Gente. Etc.

I really don't understand why the hive are now looking down on collabs when Bey has benefited a lot from collaborations with big streaming artists.

I find the Monsters annoying but this is a good point

Solid but not amazing..

since there was no big album push at launch (music vids/marketing gimmick) im not surprised its kind of mid level streams

Still impressive factoring this is her 7th album across 20 years as asolo act

Will be interesting to see whether her visuals later approach gives longevity

Not I'm That Girl being the most streamed track? GP truly has no taste whatsoever

The clowns came back to bite. ?

The Chromatica album first week SPS got a lot of praise by monsters. I bet you were one of them too but the thread is unfortunately  deleted. It was the longevity that failed the era.

You were perched for this album to do way worse than Gaga's but it did not happen but you still want to have your moment. :ahh:

Just dropping this here:

Just curious, how would they know the numbers? AM do not release streaming numbers.

Remember, it had NO promo, literally not even a video. Nothing. Just new Bey release promo is not enough for some higher numbers(and what it did is more than good).
