Does the file on Elton’s website have the fixed vocals?

So between now and September 7th they could film a video before Elton goes back on the road.

This might explain why Britney had her 'mermaid' hair again.

Music Week update for UK chart from today (reliable source)

1 Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal - B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All) (25,676)
2 LF SYSTEM - Afraid to Feel (25,206)
3 Elton John & Britney Spears - Hold Me Closer (22,295) *
4 OneRepublic - I Ain't Worried (19,392)
5 George Ezra - Green Green Grass (18,912)

Top 5 on lock? Hopefully it holds onto #3 :duca:

If she loses #1 by only 3.3k. :rip:

UK stans better come through.

Britney deleted her most followed social media on the eve of the song release

Hasn't posted a damn link for the song but had plenty of time to post multiple naked videos

You can blame her for it missing the Top10 in the US and #1 in the UK

Ma'am it's doing better in the UK than the US :deadbanana2:

This will chart higher in the UK than the US this week, US fans need to step it up.

Also yes do gods work and buy more copies (I am too).

A top 5 in the UK would be amazing. I do wish Britney atleast tweeted a link to the song or something to help a little.

It has better chances of hitting #1 in the UK, yet they're not doing much about it. That's why I'd rather to buy copies for the UK

Don't if this is a good prediction source but Hold Me Closer is #11  3 points away from #10 & #9 :jonnycat:

The hype around this song died when people heard it, it's not gonna be a hit.

He/She/it might be right though. People are interested at first because of the hype then after a few listens they stopped playing it on Spotify. :noparty:

Is radio still a thing?

People play Spotify playlists at their restaurants and businesses...

Actually up until yesterday, the streams were good and the decreases were on par to which most songs do on the first few days. What's missing is some actual promotion from Britney.

Elton is doing his part, but his tweets have like 5k likes. Britney deactivated her ig on the eve of the songs' release and is using Twitter to walk around naked listening to Boyz II Men. I love her and support whatever she decides to do, but it's fine to call things for what they are, a PR team / management would come in handy now.

I understand she may not be ready for all these things, but she doesn't need to do intense promo, if she reactived her ig with a professional photoshoot related to the song would be promo enough.

Why is radio weighed so heavily on billboard? I could be wrong here but radio seems ancient to me these days. It’s seems like most of the time whats playing on the radio doesn’t translates to what’s on the streaming charts!
