It was the late 2000s/early 2010s. Celebrity culture and the music industry were completely different. Now I have no doubt Gaga was obnoxious at her peak that might've turned off some of her idols away, but Gaga was put into this whirlwind of stardom very quickly, and I think she said during her Chromatica interview that she really needed mentors, especially of female acts, but she got offered the cold shoulder outside of Celine Dion who had always been good to her.

Grace Jones used to drag everyone. I love her but she's always been eccentric also the idea that Gaga "stole" from her is insane. Every artist is inspired by others including beyonce. Gaga usually makes an effort to credit her influences (so does Bey). 

 

There's literally nothing worth dragging here, just old comments from years ago when dragging Gaga and pop girls in general was a popular thing to do.
