The success of the movie was very unexpected, at least for me.

He got that much because he agreed to get paid less for his role if he got a percentage of first dollar gross. He is getting an insane amount of money from the box office of this movie.

Scientology and the nationalist/quasi-fascist propaganda won.

His all last movies are basically the same, no versatility at all so he don't deserve this money :gaycat6:

Cruise is more than just some actor at this point, he’s an industry.  His movies — while formulaic and lacking so-called versatility— bring in hundreds of millions, are typically tent-pole event films, and usually fit comfortably within (or otherwise establish) franchise titles. We can argue whether or not he’s owed $100M, but there’s no denying the man brings home the bacon for studio execs.  He knows his worth, and is paid handsomely for it… haters can seethe

Basically 10% of what the movie has done in the box office. :gaycat6:

He got 13m upfront and 10% of first dollar gross you would be correct.
