Honestly, losing the midterms is what Democrats seem to be hoping for. That way they won't have any expectations to meet. Defending a drooling Joe during impeachment hearings will be a hell of a lot easier on them than the prospect of actually having to govern.

They actually arent, even though the economy should be #1 priority, roe vs wade has gotten a lot of people out to vote. Democrats might actually pick up senate seats. Considering even Trump wasn't this PANNED, you may have a point

 

 

Part of the reason is that unlike Trump, Biden spits on his base and refuses to support the policies that his base wants (since he's out-of-touch or "out-of-step" with his base).
