honestly, rnb this year is mediocre. if  there wasnt for lucky daye, ella mai, kehlani, amber mark, sevyn streeter (cause she released deluxe this year), UMI (if we gonna count her as rnb) year would be completely uneventful. giveon performance on BET is how rnb stands this year.  OFF

2020 remains superior with brandys album alone.

 

2018 was also pretty good year for rnb with tamia, mariah, macy gray, eric bellinger, mihty, jeremih alone, tinashe, bobby v. sound was just so much better, so many bops and everyone was delivering HQ rnb
