This season is a massive flop. They’re dumping people way too fast, and they’re dumping all the interesting people. Val, Tyler, Andy, Bria, and now Sereniti?? Every ep is worse than the last. 
 

I feel like the producers think they need to have a dumping and/or bombshell every ep, but that’s not the case. The reason the UK show works so well is because they give us time to get invested in people, and they make sure storylines are able to fully play out. 
 

Peacock has really ****** it here :(

I just know all of this is leading up to major disappointments and drama with casa Amor. I’m still very much into this season tbh.

Chazz is literally absolute trash  I never liked him and I wasn’t sure why, he’s such a shithead, the girls are just as dumb falling for him.

The way I haven’t watched in a week and they just had the finale during the VMAs  god Peacock did not care

 

Happy Zeta and Timmy won but again, it’s been obvious they were the only realistic choice for weeks. The Isaiah and Sydney drama was so pointless, Mackenzie flopped so hard as a bombshell and I feel like all of the fun of the season died with Bria & Chazz coming in
 

Think they’ll bring it back for another season after this but I doubt it’s been a rousing success and could see ITV shopping it out again by 2024.

I can’t see another major network biting but Paramount+ needs content (as does Peacock but they didn’t even try with this show) so maybe they can renegotiate for less money and finally put it on MTV/VH1 where it belongs.

So in addition to the whole Kyle thing, it looks like Jeff sexually harassed Tigerlily to the point where she wanted to quit the show, and Nic (who came out as bi after quitting) also had a negative experience.

 

Hopefully the show moves to a new network next year.  Peacock clearly is unable to produce a good show, or to care for its contestants well-being.

I lost interest in following this some weeks back, but I'm surprised about Chazz? He seemed so cute and wholesome only to turn out to be a mess  

 

I'm surprised that Jesse and Deb have made it this far tho, like what they do have in common? Doesn't seem like there's any chemistry.

 

Jeff used to serve BDE. He shouldn't have reacted the way he did, but he's right in how there's too much fakeness friendship pacts to keep established islanders in while newer ones who may genuinely have a connection, don't stand a chance because of the pacts already in place.

Could it be that LI USA just doesn't translate or market itself well to American viewers? 

Only Justine and Cely's season has been the most memorable followed by last year's season which was kind of a flop.

Maybe transferring to MTV or VH1 which houses similar shows to LI might work out.

 

In the UK, it's a staple because the humour and the personalities just hit different although the show has already peaked and become stale.

It would have been nice to see these couples connect in the villa.  If only Peacock wasn't hell bent on dumping people every other day and carving out time for Sydney's daily crying session.
