That in-public recording session scene was so uncomfortable to watch. Abel is so uneasy on the eyes but way too invested in this role, wouldn’t be surprised to uncover some nasty behind-the-scenes stories about him in the future. Anyway, better wrap it up and cancel it.

I read that the the first version they shot was 8 episodes but they bumped it down to 5 when they reshot everything.

I just read a bunch of articles from when the show was announced and every single one says six episodes.

Did it do so badly that they cut it down? Did HBO see that there‘s absolutely no plot and said five is enough?

Ive only seen 2 episodes so far.. but i am very MAD.

 

There is something great here. You can tell there was something really interesting being put together regarding a pop star and her life...something that tv hasn't had..but they ruined it with this weird side story with the weeknds character. He and sam came in and ruined a potentially great show.

 

Ill finish watching it but if they do a season 2, they need a writers room and the weeknd needs to take a step back.
