Vermillion Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Renaissance is a modern dance-record through and through like Discovery-era Daft Punk, NOT R.A.M. era Daft Punk which won the Grammy and which was much more indebted to classic disco with roots in Chicago and Detroit like 1997's Homework. The Grammy's gave their one shot to dance through that win and therefore isn't giving it to Renaissance. She had a better shot, solely from genre politics, on winning AOTY with self-titled or Lemonade.

nadiamendell Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Lord. That performance was good but sooooo long. Serving end of the night performance when the audience is drunk and starting to slowly empty out.
