No.. Evil dead has only one good movie.the first one...the other movies had different tone (more comedy) so the people who only wants horror (like me)didn't like the sequels.. The remake was boring, more blood but it wasn't scary or entertaining like the original... Scream 3 was good.. it's watchable..scream 4 was the weakest of the franchise but yeah it's a decent franchise overall so far (I hope scream 6 doesn't ruin everything)..

the only great Halloween movies are Halloween 1 AND Halloween 2 (1981) .. it's like one big movie.. Halloween 2 was the closest movie who had the same atmosphere of the original...no other sequel was close to the original, only Halloween 2 was close..

Evil Dead 2 is definitely more of a horror/comedy hybrid, but it has its serious moments like the original, and by no means does this mean the quality is worse than the original; actually, most horror fans have a hard time deciding whether Evil Dead 2, Scream 2, and Aliens are better than their predecessors. Also, Evil Dead 2 isn't THAT comedic where we are rivaling Scream 4-territory, here, where the whole movie is basically an inside-joke for diehards. Yes, Scream 4 also has its serious moments, but those serious moments come to a halt by humor or being meta for the sake of being meta.

Also, while Scream 4 was underwhelming (it's my second least favorite behind Scream 3; I really don't understand how people like it considering the screenplay is just awful, but to each their own), I would still say it's better than any of the Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, or The Exorcist sequels. I'd say Paranormal Activity almost rivals Scream with its sequels (I actually liked PA3 more than Scream 4), however, after Paranormal Activity 3, the series just took a nosedive. I haven't even seen Next of Kin, and after how horrible The Marked Ones and Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension were, I rather not take my chances.

Halloween 2 (1981) was decent, from what I remember. It's inoffensive because it resembles the original so closely in score and setting, and even some of the original characters reprise their roles, but the script is a lot worse than Evil Dead's (the remake) and Scream 4. Whereas the remake of Evil Dead was gratuitously bloody/gory and not scary, at least the drug-addiction allegory stuck the landing and elevated a bloodbath remake to at least a film with something on its mind. With Scream 4, as repetitive as it was, it at least didn't dumb down the audience like H2 does. There are so many instances where a character could've defended themselves against Michael, women are basically sex objects/victims throughout the whole movie, and I feel like these are problems S4 and the Evil Dead remake weren't plagued with.

It's pretty hard to find a horror franchise that is consistently great. Even Scream and Evil Dead, while having more good movies than bad, also have their turkeys (or at least mediocre/underwhelming) entr

Flop reboot franchise iktr

Well,I know for sure that black phone and Nope will remain the best grossing horror movies of the year.. Halloween ends is gonna do less than Halloween kills ..I never liked  David Gordon Green's movies and the peacock news showed that they know the movie is going to be a train wreck.

Place your bets for a copycat killer that finally murders Laurie and the real Michael is still on the loose.

People will pay to see cause they'll want to truly know how it ends. I agree about Kills though - it was clearly just a filler movie to cash in on the franchise with no real plot and stupid ass characters.

Lol they still can't decide which version of the ending will be included in the film https://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/halloween-ends-david-gordon-green-still-playing-with-ending-exclusive/

Because, lets face it, it doesn't really end, there will always be another one
