Sweetestsecret Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) I watched the trailer again and I noticed that he's not missing any fingers . michael's hands are fine.. continuity error or a copycat killer Edited July 20, 2022 by Sweetestsecret
wantedyoutogrow Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 this looks good, but the HK trailer also looked good
wantedyoutogrow Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 I really like how they didn't show much in the trailer. The 2018 and the Kills trailer were so spoiler-filled, so atleast they are keeping some secrecy with this one

aliwonderland Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 this already looks better than the last mess, I have hope

ConceptD Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 I really feel like H18 was a fluke. This is not the right creative team for this franchise.

Halloween 2018 wasn't great..it was a mediocre comedy...I can see it only as a comedy! Not scary..Awful lines/dialogues (for example 'peanut butter on my p****' !!!) ,stupid-unlikeable characters, bad editing, terrible plot twist with the doctor and a boring-anticlimactic ending...it was supposed to be the huge comeback of the franchise after many years,a direct sequel to the original classic movie removing all the previous timelines.the expectations were high but we got a mediocre movie..of course I knew that the people behind Halloween 2018 movie will only get worse with the sequels but I still don't know why Halloween 2018 is so overrated..I saw the praise from the critics back then and I thought that they got paid to write the reviews!!! There are better movies in the Halloween franchise... Edited July 20, 2022 by Sweetestsecret
slik Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Halloween: H20 will forever be the best Halloween sequel
slik Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) Also Laurie Strode > Sidney Prescott Edited July 20, 2022 by slik

The Last of Us Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 That trailer was perfect! I hate when they spoil the entire thing. Halloween Kills to me is the best Halloween since the original, so I hope this is more like that and less like the 2018 one.
Jack! Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 The trailer was... okay. It didn't give much away which can be a good thing, but it is a bit misleading if Jamie doesn't have much presence in the movie until the end. If the rumours are true I would guess most of the scenes in the trailer will be how the movie ends with them fighting and one (or both) of them will die.
skankle Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Trailer looks like the exact same movie we've seen about 4 times at this point but the synopsis seems way more interesting. Cautiously optimistic.
ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted July 20, 2022 ATRL Moderator Posted July 20, 2022 Didn't like the trailer but obviously still excited for the film.
MasterXPosed Posted July 24, 2022 Author Posted July 24, 2022 Thread updated with poster and trailer! I am excited for this movie, but the potential for a two killer thing makes me nervous. Hoping It doesn't take away from the story 2018 and Kills brought us with Laurie and Allyson
Oktober Knight Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 Are they still having COVID being a part of the plot? I know this was semi confirmed, especially with the time jump from the first 2 films. Also, is that Laurie in Judith's old room at the beginning of the trailer? And is that the Wallace's house where she's hiding in the corner saying "come and get me?"

wanderingsoot Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 (edited) halloween kills was one of the worst movies i've ever seen so i don't have high hopes Edited July 24, 2022 by wanderingsoot typo
Chris Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 Can't wait for this. My personal picks for the best in the whole series (NOT the Rob Zombie knock offs) are Halloween (original), Halloween H20, and Halloween (2018). 2018 was a good one.
