just did a friday the 13th marathon recently & the 2nd film is FANTASTIC

i never gave it a chance bc jason didn’t have his iconic hockey mask, but i’ve been missing out :jonny5:

I agree. The first two are amazing. I think the sack is much more scary than the hockey mask, tbh. The ending gave me nightmares when I saw it as a kid. What's your rating for each movie?

Michael kicking that car door into miss things gun, turning it on her and shooting her in the face…

Test screenings happened a few days ago..they showed two cuts of the movie.. one cut had well-received reactions ,the other cut had horrible reviews..the film is divisive. there's a new lead: his name is Corey, he's played by Rohan Campbell. His role is bigger than both Laurie and Allyson.

I think ppl are just being dramatic about Halloween Kills being bad.

Sure it wasn’t as good as the first film but it’s MILES better than all the sequels in the past.

Halloween 2 exists

Halloween Kills was the worst film of all time so they set a low bar. Hopefully this follows the footsteps of the other departures and "new directions" of the franchise, Season of the Witch and Zombie's Halloween 2. Although I fear it will never be as good as the latter.

I want to be excited for this but HK was a huge decline and with them saying the ending with go off in a completely unique direction scares me.

It looks interesting. But I feel like they’re misleading us considering the rumor that Laurie is not even the lead of the movie and  Corey is.

not the plot synopsis confirming the rumors that the new main character is that corey guy :jonny5: this is probably going to become the most hated movie in the franchise, even above resurrection and rob zombie’s halloweens :jonny5:

Where?

it’s in the description of the trailer on youtube:

Quote

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

The trailer looks good. Hopefully Laurie is in this often and Michael dies once and for all.
