Honestly I was expecting (and would have been satisfied with) more of the same of the first movie considering I freaking stan Esther and her savage b*tch persona, but flipping the script and making the FAMILY out psycho her this time was a good direction. I don’t care what anyone says, that twist was brilliant and I am more than satisfied with this sequel. Esther continues to be the mpg of horror

My only complain with the movie is that after the twist, it feels very rushed. Like everything happens so fast and leaves you wanting more. A little more and longer violence at the end would have been great.

Especially compared to the fact that it takes like an hour for something to happen after the cold open  I was so bored

A somewhat silly movie but we had so much fun with it. Definitely wanna see the first one now. Esther has such a pressence

that twist was everythingggggg!!!!!! i knew something was gonna happen but i didn't predict it.

 

i know the reason why they played with the lighting, but it looked genuinely awful; so cloudy and cheap. it felt like they were filming with iphones sometimes. i hated the washed out colors too
