Why?

Did you watch Avatar The Way Of Water? The VFX from that movie is from 5 years in the future, whereas The Little Mermaid VFX looks like normal 2023 VFX.

Underwater scenes are actually made more easily real looking on GCI. If you look a real underwater scene you cannot tell it is GCI or not. I kinda expect the animation to be good, except for the lack of emotions.

Shark vs lion:

It is easy to see that the lion is much harder to make in the CGI animation than the shark. The same applies for earthy mammals compared to sea creatures.

I still can't believe they went with that actor for Prince Eric, he was the first male love interest to look distinctive and show some personality yet they casted the blandes man they could find :rip: They did her wrong with that casting.

I kinda like the way he looks in trailer. In the pics that I've seen not so much.

What you don't like about him?

He seems very very bland looks and personality wise. Prince Eric was actually the first Dinsey prince that look more unique and showed more personality + was a lot more present in the story so the casting is very underwhelming

I mean i don't know, I'm not a casting director. It's just my opinion.

It’s hilarious seeing that you think you are more qualified in deciding if a person is right for a role or not than Disney…

Sure because Hollywood hasn't done horrible casting decisions in the past :rip:

Anyway I just said it's my opinion, are you his agent or something? Lol
