Yes, I downloaded the segment before it’s wiped out online & Halle TOPS Jodi’s rendition. Thankfully this director understands the true essence of Ariel, which is her voice & I’m ready with my box of tissues to support this multiple times on the big screen 

Halle will make every racist eat their self hate & words up, trust!

Just seen the trailer and I’m all here for the voice. Halle is gorgeous and honestly if the leaked version of POYW is fr fr, then I’m afraid she’s topped Jodi’s version with all due respect. It needs some pacing adjustments tho and such and tbh the character/soul isn’t as great as Jodi’s but as a vocalist?? She’s got this in the bag. Like the last lines in the trailer… I know bey is her main influence but that was ALL Whitney right there. Simply mesmerizing.
