Yes *****! Queen of Barbados and queen of Dinero! :clap3: No wonder she doesn’t want to invest in music. Yet she shouldn’t forget that’s where she had her come up from. She should treat her fans with af least some standalone songs.

like is it legit that her NET worth is now over 1BILLION?! :jonny4:I always thought they just meant like her business is worth over 1B but if that's just her net worth then that is INCREDIBLE. damn...she went from almost going bankrupt in 2009 due to investing in some flooded mansion and a robbing financial advisor to now being a billionaire. Queen :clap3:

Ain't it funny how her investments in music are mentioned the last.

I think we're going to see more and more of these super-successful artists leaving music behind and focusing on creating businesses that replace and vastly exceed what they were earning from music + touring.  Rappers were ahead of the game with their 2000's and 2010's alcohol brands, and now women are finding massive success in the beauty and health industries.  Even someone super young like Millie Bobby Brown released her beauty brand as a teenager and will probably end up making more form that soon enough than from acting.

I wonder what her stans think of this. That check may be so divine, but it’s the music that got her there. Money shouldn’t be the main reason to do things? Shouldn’t she reward her fans every now and then with some music?

She's not a US citizen, she's Bajan. Please don't erase her nationality.

Remember when they called her a corporate slave?

She made her fortune within the market framework of the American economy, not that of Barbados. The US has also been her primary residence for the majority of her life at this point. That’s what the headline means by “America’s most”. Just like Elon Musk is America’s richest person (depending on the day) not South Africas.

So we are praising bilionaires now?

What’s wrong with praising a smart business woman like Rihanna? Especially when she created her company from scratch and comes from a poor working class family. The same could be said for other billionaires who come from humble beginnings.

Elon Musk has US citizenship. Therefore he is a US citizen, after immigrating to the US.

Rihanna does not have US citizenship and is solely a citizen of Barbados. Thus making her not a US citizen.
