Zaynsus
Her label probably released very limited amount of singles to push the album. Not some of y'all saying it was a non-event when it helped the album sell 1.3m copies in the US in its first week and reach diamond certification. And the song ended up being more remembered than some #1s of that time tbh. *checks Spotify*

What made me surprised the most was that Oops I did it again- a undeniably huge smash on a global scale, it was played everywhere in my country, especially when you visited the electronics stores, they played the MV on the TVs all the time. Oops the Album also sold 1.3 millions first weeks in US only, so why the song never hit No.1 on BBH100 or at least No.5 despite its popularity and impact? The fact that you still sent this after what the OP said, just goes to show how you OBHs are so ready to pounce on Britney, even it means hopping straight to a Britney thread with no context whatsoever and trying to miserably drag her

Like had already been mentioned, she wasn’t banned, she was blacklisted. But you choose to ignore that and continue being ignorant. and not an event The album that sold 1.3 million copies off the back of that lead single and held the record for 15 years?
