I swear, LFN is the definition of pop perfection. It's soooo Katy Perry, if I had to choose one song to define Katy's music and persona, it would be Last Friday Night. Those people were incredibly ignorant. LFN reached #1 in both digital sales and airplay. Its video was huge (now has over 1 bln views despite being 8+ minutes). If anything she was unlucky it only snagged 2 weeks at #1 because of huge competition and its sales and airplay peaking at opposite ends of that summer.
