Brando Posted July 1, 2022 Share Posted July 1, 2022 A large portion of them are Taylor stans, but it's understandable, because Taylor has been stomping on everyone's faves for so many years now and the only person they could hide behind was the untouchable Adele, setting Swifties up with countless flamebait threads and posts. But now that Adele is also flopping, it's fairly ok for Swifties to lash back out at all those who kept mocking them using Adele. 1989 Posted July 1, 2022 Share Posted July 1, 2022 It’s honestly a bit of every fanbase, because everyone knows Adele is one of the only artists left that can really sell, and it’s just the nature of a fanbase to want to go after them if they suddenly aren’t matching previous numbers. It’s true there is a fraction of the Swifties that go after Adele simply because she’s the only one who can match (and often beat) Taylor in numbers, but it’s not as many as it seems.
