Green Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Both have 11 #1 hits in the US. Which ones are better? Whitney Houston Drake "Saving All My Love for You" "What's My Name?" "How Will I Know" "Work" "Greatest Love of All" "One Dance" "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" "God's Plan" "Didn't We Almost Have It All" "Nice for What" "So Emotional" "In My Feelings" "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" "Toosie Slide" "I'm Your Baby Tonight" "What's Next" "All the Man That I Need" "Way 2 Sexy" "I Will Always Love You" "Wait for U" "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)" "Jimmy Cooks"
PMKARDASHIAN Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 This thread could be Whitney Vs Anyone and Whitney would win every round every time. Nippy has some of the most legendary #1s in HISTORY.
GoodGuyGoneGhetto Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 WHITNEY HOUSTON FOR LITETALLY ALL, excluding the Rihanna songs.
Both Sides Now Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Whitney for literally ALL. So many of these forgotten Drake songs that are only 0-2 years old He really fell off.

Brando Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Wait.. Drake's first 2 number 1s were on Rihanna tracks? And he accumulated the rest since 2016 only? This is brand new information to me
Blue Skies Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Whitney for all. The fact that I literally have no idea how any of those non-Rihanna songs go… I really am not checking for male artists
jdanton2 Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 (edited) Whitney for all . second post was a mistake . could a mod delete it? Edited June 28, 2022 by jdanton2
DiamondHoe Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Greatest Love of All, How Will I Know, I Wanna Dance, So Emotional and I Will Always Love You are some of the most legendary bits ever. ofc Whitney wins

monstereo Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Drake and his generic music will be forgotten, Whitney is forever.
Planet Mars Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Whitney sweetie, Drake's happy mean a*s number ones don't matter to anybody outside of his fanbase of locals.
JCsNumba1Fan Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Whitney for all. Drake’s best songs are not his #1s, whereas Whitney’s best songs are kind of the opposite.
sugarysunflower Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Most, if not all, of Whitney’s #1s STILL get played on the radio regularly, on Music TV syndication, and on Talent Show performances almost 20-30 years later. Drake’s number ones have been getting progressively worse, and forgotten within a matter of months. And I can’t imagine anyone Wanting to even bother recreating the songs.

Comparing both acts is silly, especially considering the era we're in. What's impressive is that Drake can still score #1 hits this easily 13 years into his career. Drake will probably end up having more #1 hits than the Beatles when it's all said and done. No comparisons on which #1s are "better" matter now and they won't matter then.
Dula Peep Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Nippy sweetie…. Drake only wins with “Nice for What” Very strange that his seemingly biggest and best songs failed to go #1 over this forgettable collection…. Hotline Bling, Passionfruit, The Motto, Started from the bottom, Hold on, We’re Going Home…..?
Fetish for MiMi Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Whitney sweetie.... and Drake's last 5 #1s... wtf are those songs??
