She could have worded it better but she DOES have a VERY valid point.

People treated this trial like a damn circus / reality TV show. Imagine going online everyday only to see strangers deciding whether X and Y are lying about their abuse or even worse, making TikToks with their testimonies and mocking their evidence. Especially as a woman / victim of domestic abuse.

She spilled :clap3:

I think the whole thing was just blown way out of proportion and I paid literally zero attention to it because it's all anyone would go on about. There are far more important things in the world than worrying about a celebrity divorce trial let's be real here :skull:

The XXXTentacle receipt clocks her entirely. You can't critique the debauchery if you were taking part in it for a different party.

She worded it horribly but she spilled. The GP was treating it like a reality TV show instead of a proper trial like it should & now they wanna act high and mighty cause she called them out for it? :isudumblmao:

She spilled and the ones who disagree with her are afraid to admit they actually agree.

be serious.. some of the tweets in the OP had 200+ likes and rightfully so, i like billie but that last part was stupid. this trial & whats happening rn are linked, saying "who gives af" is tone deaf

I mean she's right, there were a lot of other more important things going at the time and everybody was perched for trial for gossip and morbid not for anything else, it was a circus.

she’s right and she should say it :clap3:

Also the complete irony to me when many of the people who were perched following the trial and making memes are literal losers and/or incels who don't give a **** about "male abuse" and were using it as a chance to spread their (internalized) misogyny and agenda, leading Amber to getting more hate than Harvey and co. :skull:

Billie is right and those who feel bothered by the point she was making are exactly the ones she was dragging.

She’s right. The entire fiasco was embarrassing for both parties and it really says something about our media/country’s priorities.

The less someone knows about this trial, the more likely they are successful and actually have real lives :skull:

She spilled. The coverage of that trial was absurd and unnecessary. It was treated like entertainment/sensational by the media - which they do all the time btw and people always fall for it anyway.

... I don't think she would've said the same thing if the abuser was a man

Funny how when men face domestic violence its downplayed. Keep quiet Billie, you sound stupid.

And she’s right. As usual the US media sensationalizes bull**** and turned the trial into a reality show instead of show real issues facing our country.

And any person who isn’t chronically online agrees.

Of course she wouldn't have. It would have been hashtags and hyperlinks.

it makes sense why she doesn't care when you look at the people she idolizes :toofunny3:

its true its true

that trial was forced down our throats when there are so many more important things going on

Not everyone treated it like a reality show nor made it our entire personality, some of us were aware that this trial & its outcome would reflect the future of womens rights & DV victims rights. To refer to it as a 'divorce trial' is ignorant, Billie was not right about that at all. :coffee2:
