Unlistenable trash.

Not everyone can execute dance music flawlessly like Gaga :clap3:

I like the hook , it's very effective.

However the verses could've been better tbh. Beat is fire though

I really like it. It's a cute gay bop.

I find it funny how everyone is releasing 2-3 min songs and she came with a 4 minute song - something that everyone thanked her for. However, I believe this is the type of song that doesn't need to be 4 minutes long. It makes the song unnecessary long and too repetitive (although if it had been 2 minutes only it would've been underwhelming af)

All the monsters being so bothered is sending me. :deadbanana4:

What Beyonce just did was release a song on a level Gaga could not do with her little “house influenced” album. :rip: I’d be pissed too.

Not comparing this to MABEL. You all need to be seriously schooled on some music history! :toofunny3:

Really enjoyed this, hope it's a big hit

No worry. Hives are going to pretend this is another side project from Ms Beyonce once it flops into oblivion :bibliahh:

Just stop with the chromatica comparisons. That is not what this song is. This is a CLASSSIC HOUSE bop. Its not wanting to be pop music like sour candy or wanting to have clean production like it either. The monsters trying to build comparions, its not cute. Then go and stream sour candy if you want smh.

Bey just served what might be one of the best songs so far this year. Im beyond excited for the album. :jonny3:

If this flops harder than Hold My Hand though, BeyHive of course will hide again instead fighting for their queen :bibliahh:

“Beyoncé gonna retract her album if she sees this” :ahh:

At least it’s hitting the target audience. We need yt Europe to stream

I mean on one hand it's cool that she's not taking herself seriously and just here to have fun, but I do agree with the critiques that it sounds hollow/unfinished and generic for a big comeback. Hopefully this is the most basic one of the bunch on the album and they chose it as the single because it seemed digestible.

Ok so the production is just wrong, Big Freeda isn’t the only issue.  Very questionable decision by Bey.  Someone put the Sour Candy production under this and it instantly sounds 100x better.

This is SO good omfg

The lyric video on YouTube is doing well, already less than 100k views from reaching 1 million views.

Also Sour Candy is a nice pop bop but can people with like 2 musical references (Lady and Gaga) stop saying it needs Chromatica production to sound complete? Go listen to a song from before 2008 plssss there’s a whole genre of 90s house channelling this and you’ll notice the true house girlies are loving it whether or not they like Bey

Well this post just says that you don't know ****. And sampling has existed in music since forever. Bey has been doing it for AGES (on Lemonade too :toofunny2:) and it is even more popular in house/dance music.

Did I say sampling was a novel phenomenon or are you implying I’m obligated to find it palatable Cus it’s common? Before the song was released, I already commented against a heavy sample lead single. It’s too blatant for me.

Y’all got it twisted trying to come for me. Just Cus I don’t use this one song doesn’t dent my Bey stan credentials. Watch yourself swiftie.

I can’t wait for the music video and the live performances!

What? This song is more boring than anything on chromatica.

Well this is it. We knew they’d be jealous and pretend Bey was copying when the house rumours started circulating. But the closest Gaga came to deep house on Chrom (Free Woman) got scrapped and turned into an H&M song so :michael: they aren’t even the same genre

The song is great, a powerful House track.

I also don't see how people can hear the rapping and the church choir and think oh dance songs in the past.

Pls both artists can exist at the same time and make house/90s inspired bops. Both can be amazing. Just because some fans act like pop music is everything doesnt mean there cant exist people who love both. Streaming this bop on repeat too :gaycat3:
