I don't like it. It's what I would typically expect from Bey but when I heard it would be dance music I was more intrigued. Unfortunately it lacks any kind of hook or memorable melody. Its very monotone and goes nowhere. This may have worked better as an album track which is how I feel about most of her songs for over a decade now. If shes worked with writer camps in the past, why don't they give her hits? Is it because they rather give their songs with potential to the IT girl of the moment? This isn't shade, I just don't get it.

I just heard this and it sounds so much better.

i expected this from brintey maximalist but gaga stans? do better sis. take  the advice from the other user, delete it.

Boring. Repetitive. Where's the hook? Bey this ain't it honey.

The last time Bey, The Dream, and Tricky Stewart worked together was Single Ladies and we remember the reception to that... now imagine if the MV follows suit

People were so polarized by it, but it picked up and we got the first viral hit. I wouldn’t mind a Single Ladies from this.

Jake Nava better be finishing the final edits on it.

This is very solid. It lacks some punch though. I'll listen again when I wake up tomorrow, but this is very promising

The song sounds unfinished.

I felt the same. It felt like a demo and kinda empty.. just her vocals over a beat.

Definetly a strong lead that makes me excited for the album. I like the Big Freedia parts, it gives the song the edge it needs.

The Brigitte Nielsen gif is definitely needed.

That actually gave that part an amazing punch. I'm intrigued about a whole remix now.

I personally don't find it safe for Bey,...

girl it literally sounds like a Mabel song. it's like she just wants to be on the (European) radio again

embarrassing how? bc some of us thought this packed more of a punch than the original.. if anything is embarrassing its acting superior over someones harmless opinion.

I thought it was cute, I liked it. Production is pretty generic tho, hard to hate this song.

To me safe for Bey is another urban hit that they'll eat up. Going a totally different direction and running the risk of alienating them and flopping elsewhere is the opposite of safe to me but different opinions I suppose.

Just had my first listen and it’s alright, but I think it sounds better when the whole album is out and it flows with the rest!

The exit is top right. The Liddos highjack almost every ******* thread on here. Move.

Bey's rapping over the SC beat is fire tho, and fits perfectly

The chorus is so repetitive and packs no punch. But this kinda reminds me of 4 era so hope for some bops on the album still :rip:

The way Lorde, Adele, Rina, Carly, Charlie, Gaga and now Bey are all put out lackluster songs though, pop girls are im shambles :rip:

So the first listen was me taking it in. But every LISTEN AFTER THAT? Beyoncé ate that omg she’s truly a chameleon and can work any genre possible. Love Big Freesia’s chanting it really elevates the song.

This is a strong lead tbh it does grow on you a lot. I love it
