this is massive

This is a song that sounds much better on actual speaker than headphones. I was listening to the song on my mixing headphones, and the song almost sounded flat. Sounds much better on a speaker system, but yah, I do share some reservations like other Hive members.

It's a bop and I hope they force it down the straight's throats.

I only wish she would've added more Spirit-esque runs.

I can see this song growing on me but the lyrics are so corny idk that part where she rhymes outside with outside with outside with outside was not giving it

I hate to say it but it makes me appreciate "We Found Love" even more. That too was a repetitive house track with a two-note riff and yet it spun gold out of straw and felt like a huge life-affirming anthem. This is trying to to the same but it's not giving.

I love it. I can see it becoming a gay staple, for Pride events, parades, clubs and such. Love the addition of Big Freedia.

What a song like this needed to really push it over the edge into excellence though, is a massive climax.

oh, she's selling out. Interesting.

Well, It's a cute lil song.

It sounds a little too repetitive for a 4 minute and a half song, tho :biblio: There was no need for that

I don’t know what to feel about this to be quite honest, it sounds a little too much like I’m all hazy with my eyes half shut in an Uber after 8 shots and this is what’s playing from the radio. But will give it a headphone listen later, I’m sure I will vibe better with it when the MV comes out.

The song is good but the message is so tone deaf Miss Ivy Park :ahh: put it on your sweatshop factories and see what happens :ahh:

I put my brightness on low for the lyric video before I played it because of what yall were saying. And yup you’re absolutely right it does need a warning. :rip:

it's definitely a grower.... took a few listens to not hear the sample, or to hear the rest compared to the sample but yesssss.

Her voice sounds so good on this song and gives me hope for the album as a whole, but the song is just so long and boring and repetitive. :gaycat6:

Like, it sounds like it'd be lots of fun in clubs, but I'll never seek to purposely listen to it again.

My initial thoughts on the song have not changed

The choir at the end is genius. Gives that house warehouse party call & response vibe. The whole letting stress go & just be free vibe >

Needed this. was meh at the leak snipped listen, but I really like this.

I love it!! This is REAL house and she never did this before. This is going to catch on the clubs and dance floors

It reminds me so much of this

I don't understand how it reminds you of Kitty Girl, but at least that's the best song to come from Drag Race

Anyways I'm loving and living currently to this

It sounds like a Calvin Harris/Rihanna track. Definitely catchy, but the production is a bit too repetitive imo.

Monsters and their obsession with Beyonce stays being weird though :rip: the song could flop into the pits of hell, and Beyonce will still have the bigger and more celebrated career

Can we talk about how STELLAR the outro is? The best part of the song for me :jonny5:it feels like a progression into a new song ala COADF

i feel like i will appreciate the track so much more when i listen to it as an album track

anyway i still like it and think it's cute but it's serving dua lipa to me and i dont fancy that

after I realized this was a sample of Show Me Love, it just makes me appreciate that song more and want to listen to that song on repeat more tbh... :rip: it does pump me up for the rest of the album, i can't wait to hear the deep cuts.
