Yeah, 31k sounds like a lot… She was selling 3-4 times what Harry was selling throughout the week on iTunes and the remix was only a web exclusive for some hours…

if you all can remember - the Madonna remix was exclusive to her website for more than 6 hours with an IG story promo post from Beyoncé & Madonna.

 

I think about 15K of those sales came from the website alone since a lot of people bought it to hear it.

 

It just shows the demand she has on her website. She is really a physical artist.

I'm sure Parkwood & Columbia didn't expect this runaway success of the tracks right out the gate.  Also doesn't really give her second, third, and fourth fanbases anything to celebrate this week.
