Beyoncé - "BREAK MY SOUL"

The fact that Beyoncé released a pop song but It’s the urban audience that’s keeping it afloat is very telling; both on streaming and radio :deadbanana2:

I think that's grated. This week radio will be higher, Spotify is bad but AM compensates it, and then the impact of the Acapella and Instrumental version which will be little but it's something.

I think she'll probably get a new peak at #6

Depends on how she recovers from the Spotify Sunday drop. She was slowly rising Friday and Saturday, and she’s been doing better in AM than weeks prior. Radio audience is still increasing. I’d say yes overall.

Fingers crossed :celestial2:

That's why I don't understand these payola allegations.

All the songs above have/had way more support from pop. Even Harry's new song does better than hers on pop. And consequently they do better on Spotify as well.

Urban and R&B are carrying her. As they've always done. But I am happy about the initial support from pop. I hope they'll spin the 2nd single as well.

Are we talking this week 7 days  projection or the audience gained between Friday to Sunday so far?

A #7 peak during her 7th solo album era. Love to see it!

Just like urban radio is compensating the lack of support from pop radio, AM is compensating for Spotify. She’s been on the top 30 there (she was #24 2 days ago) for the whole week and she was about to exit the top 40 two weeks ago. We focus way too much on Spotify because it offers numbers, but she’s been climbing Apple Music charts.

Yeah her urban audience is loyal

Official points for this week

1. Lizzo - 269

2. Harry - 253

7. Break My Soul

8. Harry (LNT) - 148

This tracking week, BMS is expected to reach new peak

#1 is between Harry and Lizzo (around 250 points mark)

So to reach #1 on album release, it needs to be higher than 250 points for contention

#3 would be a safe bet if it doesn't (230-240 points)

ADT is at 269 points as opposed to Harry at 253. That’s like a 15 point difference… seem like ADT will take it easil…

Just hope it dwindles in points for the following tracking week

She should’ve released a promo single before the album for her core fanbase, I’m not sure if a pop song like Break My Soul is enough to sell an album.

More than anything, I'd love this to have a VISUAL:

#1 is nice and all that, but I prefer this to have a music video FIRST :o

or maybe we can have both ? during album release? so exciting!

EIL and The Gift were both under performers but I think this will clear 400k quite easily first week. I almost considered getting the vinyl

And I beg her please now, we need a video for this on Friday. She loves sabotaging her singles

I'm ready for the song to explode and reach its full potential this coming week.

The instrumental slaps hard, which is given actually since it is a house song and they usually sound better without vocals :deadbanana4:

To be fair “Everything is Love” and “Lion King: The Gift” could counter that argument.

Amazing hold. This is her most stable top 10 hit since I Am... Sasha Fierce I guess.
