Is this payola or organic?

I’ve not seen radio support her like this… ever? Certainly not pop radio…

I can’t believe it :jonny5:

She’s already at #4 on the UK radio charts as well… what on earth.

They definitely have, prior to 4, and regularly.

I thought radio was gonna be her biggest challenge :jonny: I haven’t heard Beyoncé on the radio in my state in years. They barely even played the Savage remix

Those adds! :WAP: Hopefully the Spotify streams stabilise, because with this radio play, we should definitely see the song grow over the next few weeks.

it COULD be natural. megastars are all fading even though the demand is still high for them, Bey is benefitting from that right now. Playing a new Beyonce 'smash' is much more exciting for radio presenters to announce compared to all the faceless tiktok dribble that we're in. And even though they added the song they still don't have obligation to play it.

They have during DIL, B'Day and IASF.

This is Irreplaceable territory.

Great thing here she has stayed faithful to Urban and RnB for two decades so they are on board even if it's on the pop side.

She sent it to pop, her first song sent there in over a decade and they seem to like it.

We might also get support from dance considering the genre of the song.

And Rythmic is usually here for her.

She has a multi-format hit on her hands.

By the way, does anyone know if they're using an edit on radio?

Oh then I forgot.

I thought PH was sent to Urban and RnB only but maybe I recall it wrongly.

Do we know how the radio support compares to her other lead singles?

At least something’s going right this era. I wish we’d get something from her;  album cover, interview, something, anything

Thank you. That's what I remember.

I think the radio support is organic, she isn’t doing anything to promote as it is. It is just a feel good record from a very recognizable superstar, it’s not a stretch that radio is on board

Imagine if all the 5 million Twitter views on that Russell Westbrook video transferred over to Spotify plays :jonny5:

XO was sent to Pop, it was a dual single with DIL which was originally the urban/rhythmic single.

DIL peaked at #12 on Pop radio so it must’ve been sent as well after they saw XO wasn’t clicking, it wouldn’t have peaked that high if it wasn’t sent.

Not so bad at all!

So, the song lost about 2.3 mill in audience with the rolling effect.

I thought she was about to lose over 5 mil. This song is going to be a radio hit!  Sad Pauly D GIF by A Double Shot At Love With DJ Pauly D and Vinny

Can we talk about how it barely lost anything on Pop tho? :jonny4:
