The part of the song that gets me the most is “looking for something that lives inside me”

Over 20 million streams on Spotify already :clap3:

I still find it so amusing that ATRL was so sure her “lack of hits” over the last decade had something to do with her falling off, totally dismissing the fact that the top 20 Hip Hop and R&B classics she pumped out between 4 and Lemonade out streamed a lot of the MPGs #1 (top 5) hits. It’s just so interesting. Yet she gives us one dance song that resonates with white twinks of the sort and it suddenly becomes clear to certain members that she’s still got it. I can’t imagine what excuses and coping mechanism OBH will have have to go through this era, but it will be very transparent as per usual.

It's so satisfying seeing this success after the Hive insisted to the haters that the performance of her side projects (Everything is Love and Black Is King) was not indicative of the reception of her own upcoming solo material.

All the celebrating and undermining for absolutely nothing. Could've saved themselves some dignity.

The HIVE knows their queen. The one true undisputed living legend still capable of serving MPG.  This is just the beginning. Wait until the album is out. The follicles are going to be decimated.

And her promo so far: blacking out her insta profile pic and announcing the single via Instagram bio. The absolute power that that has

Brings chills and tears to my eyes. The realization of the importance of one's self love is beautiful and the emotion is so palpable. And her haters try and say she isn't an emotional singer with the ability to make someone cry. Absolutely ridiculous. Many people have noted that part of the song as being memorable and touching.

Beyoncé sabotaging this smash by not releasing a video...

She's usually very fast with visuals. I don't get it.

I think a great concept would be to hold the video and compile a flashy montage of people releasing their stress and dancing to the song between the pride events that went on through the weekend and/or clubs around the world. Just an all around celebratory vibe with the montage as the outro.

inb4 there is no video at all and she's gonna let the music speak for itself all era without any visuals

Or make it based around what's happening now with Roe v. Wade. The message in the song is there. But I don't know if Bey would want to get too political. Even if it could become something historical.

She’d get a lot of flak for trying to capitalize on it tbh. Even from pro-choice fans and media alike.

Naah. She’ll be dragged and rightfully so. Not a good idea

MV idea:

I see the camera following a casual protagonist or even Bey doing her daily routines, being engulfed in her work and all the different things that are stressful to us - the news of war/the recession/ maybe even a hint of the abortion laws, the person being unhappy. Then its gonna be night time, the protagonist decides to find an outlet and sees an ad for a ball. In her desperation and anxiety, she decides to join.in and go there, she enters the scene and enters a fantastical club. You see Bey im various Avantgarde outfits, trans people, Gay people, nonbinary etc. A vivid representation of the ballroom and LBTQIA+ scene with Bey as the granddame. Thats also when we get to see some great (TikTokable) choreo and Bey just absolutely serving it. The video ends with the protagonist chiming in having the time of her life and in the end getting 10s across the board. In the very end, the Protagonist wakes up with a smile on her face.

Yeah, definitely. But I wouldn't mind the concept myself. But yeah, too many things in the song are too touchy now..

"You won't break my soul"

"Release the anger"

"Looking for something that lives inside me"

I would understand it could be a bit touchy :rip:
