Those were other people's singles, as the primary artist radio is completely over Beyonce and has been for like a decade

The live performance potential of this song is immense. I hope she does something televised in the US

& UK

Hold Up had decent UK placement on Radio, they just stopped playing her once she didn't put it on streaming and she hasn't had a meaningful pop release since

Yeah I also feel like the big UK radio stations want to embrace her again but with her withholding Lemonade during the streaming era and then releasing less radio friendly music in the second half of the 2010s they couldn’t really. But this is the UK sound DOWN and has an actual shot at doing well on the charts so I think she will be playlisted accordingly if the GP like it enough.

It's very generic, yet it is a bop. I just wish it was a little shorter.

Eh first listen was okay  im hoping this song grows on me. I like the style but it's quite repetitive.

Ugh I can never warm up to Beyoncé music and it sucks. Haunted & drunk in love were last songs I stanned from her.

Omg sweet dreams was her best single ever. I hope she goes back to that style for this era.

If she did that sound now people would criticize her for being repetitive and a one trick pony.

I am SO glad Bey has the balls to complete change her sound, make it her own and show that as artist u dont need to feel trapped in a genre or style.

25 years in, shes still able to create moments, to be the talk of towards, to MOVE people.

I live for this puta

For real though the stans were ready for a change too. We knew she could do something exciting and different and thankfully she delivered. It doesn’t take away from what she did before but the best kind of artist evolves and takes those risks

Imagine if Madonna just released Like A Virgin and Material Girl 13 times over :rip: we would’ve left her in the mid 80s

I see the ATRL exclusive A&R’s are still at it.

how about just enjoying the music and let parkwood and Columbia do their job.

I’m surprised by how well this is doing  on Apple Music, she debuted in 1997 :rip:

It’s really impressive. The video needs to be released Friday at the latest to keep the momentum.
