Not with them vocals, she didn't lmaooo

House music does not live or die by the vocals. Beyoncé trying to do “Beyoncé” vocals on a house inspired beat is one of the reasons this song doesn’t work. Her voice doesn’t really feel at home in the genre, it sounds like it’s battling the production, not complementing it, which is a huge aspect of house. If you think vocals are more important than rhythm and a trance like beat to the art of house music, you misunderstand the genre.

Yes. We Gaga fans we exaggerated her sales from her debut to make her look good. That's not an hyperbole tho, thats a straight up lie.

Beyoncé is barely doing “Beyoncé” vocals on this song. Regardless, it’s a huge bop

I hope she serves choreography for the first part of the song live,

but then at the second half the curtain drops behind her and its a full choir singing with her and she takes it to a climax

And they really aren't. 80s House was ALL about heavy vocals that reflected gospel music.

Soul house (my favorite genre of house music) is all about big vocals and big beats

This is it.

This is how I feel too, it sounds like a remix of a Beyonce song that someone put together in Garageband. Her voice is definitely clashing with the production.

Her voice doesn’t suit this sound, at least on this song. It be might different on other songs on the album so let’s see.

Beyonce's voice is one of the reasons this song works WELL. I ain't reading anyone else's unintelligent takes on this.
